Nominal VS Verbal sentence:
Have you ever seen the nominal and verbal sentence? Yes, I have and everyday I have used it.
What kind of Nominal and Verbal sentence? I do not sure to explain it exactly. :)
Could you help me to tell this article to the other, for their knowledge? Yes, of course.
Thanks a lot. :)
Before we going to explain about nominal and verbal sentence, better you should to know about the verb and qualification of verb. here some question for you.
- What do you think about verb? Verb describe about action (eat, sleep)
- Do you know about verb absolutely? Yes I do
- Based on it form, verb could be divide to? Two (auxiliary verb and ordinary verb)
- What do you think about auxiliary verb, give me example? Auxiliary verb is helping verb (be, do, have)
- What do you think about ordinary verb, give me example? Ordinary verb is real action of subject. (eat, sleep, study)
Nominal sentence describe about sentence without action verb. but they are using "be" or "helping verb".
for example:
The author is handsome --> The author (subject) is (Aux-verb) handsome (Complement-adjective)
Verbal sentence describe about sentence with action verb. they are using action verb or ordinary verb
for example:
The author sleeps soundly --> The author (subject) sleeps (Ord-verb) soundly (Complement-adverb)
